My First day of my actual sailing job was made way less stressful by the rain. The damn dirty rain did its job by making people not want to come out and worked in my favor. Tonight for me, was a series of fun misadventures. Our Kids With Kites show at Harper's Ferry was riddled with broken guitar strings and failed pedals, but overall I feel like we got the songs across. During one of these little pauses Hanna came up to sing a song. The singer of the old project singing songs with the new project made me feel so blessed and happy. To have great friends who can sing and play music with is something righteous. To have friends who come out to support you is another thing all together. After the show there was a parking lot dance party followed by a mission to Brighton to retrieve yet another towed car, followed by a trip to say hi to some friends and magic magic.
We saw a guy in a shitty pick up at a red light on the phone. In to the receiver he blurts out "i'll be there in two minutes", and runs the red light. Talk to ya.
